Enrichment is a primary focus at Regent. Part of what makes a cruise with us so rewarding is the way we augment traditional cruising with insights of expert guest hosts and unique programming on board and on shore to provide you with opportunities to pursue different interests during your voyage.

Spotlights
Some cruises feature "Spotlight" thematic programs. These cruises include lectures and entertainment options focused on specific themes and interest areas. These are complimentary to all guests on the voyage.
Featured Luminaries
Regent’s Enrichment philosophy is to provide both an ultra-luxury experience as well as one that gives guests fresh perspectives and insights into the destinations we visit. Sailings will often feature special guests and events that include lectures by award-winning luminaries and world renowned experts in their field. These sailings are sure to be memorable for those discerning travelers and worldly adventurers. Current featured luminaries include author and zookeeper, Jack Hanna, and humanitarian and author, Terry Waite.
Dinner and a Show
Can sailing on Regent can enjoy a special evening of fine dining before being entertained by some of the world’s most renowned performers. Following a cocktail party featuring French canapés and cocktails, guests will dine on a specially created and musically-inspired menu of gourmet meals accompanied by fine wines in the Signatures restaurant. After the meal, guests will be entertained by legends of the entertainment world during an intimate and special performance in the Horizon Lounge.
Food, Wine and Spirits
As Regent navigates through exotic regions, one can’t help but dive into the wonders of the food, spirits and wine of the area. Learn the secret cooking techniques of celebrated chefs and observe them prepare signature dishes. Explore fine local spirits and sip and savor your way through some of the world’s best wine regions. Discover new areas and pleasure your senses as Regent delves into the world of the palate!
Fine Arts
Learn about local culture through an exploration of the arts by truly immersing and enriching oneself in a destination. Regent explores the world of art, dance, music and theater of the regions we sail to. These enrichment programs include top Opera and Cabaret performance, specialists giving lectures on art and photography, or accomplished local musicians that will play for you while you learn their style of dance.
Discovery and Exploration
This series of cruises focuses on exploring and learning about the world all around us. Guests will gain perspective and insight on the environment, rare locations on the planet and even destinations beyond earth. Respected scientists and explorers will share their unique perspectives on where we came from and where we are going next. Current programs include “Spotlight on Public Broadcasting” and “Spotlight on Wellness.”
Family Programs
Regent offers the chance for the whole family to experience the excitement of exploring the world in an enriching and meaningful way. Regent's Club Mariner youth program, designed for children of different age groups and supervised by specially trained counselors, operates all summer long and during the holiday season. Here, children will enjoy all kinds of exciting, interactive activities from whale watching in Alaska to learning to draw aquatic animals in the Tropics to playing with Russian dolls in the Baltic. And if you wish to have a reunion onboard or another special family occasion, Regent can plan special dinners, celebrations and events to bring everyone together and create a lifetime of memories.
